Price basis
The price SnapHolo shows is one representative price for a single ungraded (raw) card. It is one observed value picked from the last 30 days in a fixed order. It is not an average or a median.

How the price is chosen
- Only ungraded values are candidates. Graded prices are not mixed into the representative price; the card page shows them separately in a by-grade table. Values for other conditions (such as damaged) are not used as the representative price. Observations older than 30 days are not candidates either.
- Outliers are removed. A value that is 10 times or more away from the median of other sources’ values for the same condition and kind is dropped, as is the highest asking price.
- Real sale prices first, then market indexes, then asking prices. The first kind that exists is used.
- The market that fits the card’s language edition is checked first.
- If still tied, the most recent observation wins. On the same day, the value for the card’s own base finish comes first.
If a person has entered or excluded a price by hand, that decision takes priority over the automatic choice. When there is no candidate at all, SnapHolo shows “No price”, not zero.
Finish
A finish is the surface treatment of a card, such as holofoil. When a price has a finish, the card page shows it as “Finish” (shown as “Holofoil” for holofoil).
When several values tie, the price for the card’s own base finish is chosen first. Reverse holo is treated as a separate card, so a regular card’s price never uses a reverse holo value.
Each card has one representative price; a price table by finish is not offered yet.
Currency and exchange rates

Update schedule
| Updating | New values are applied every 30 minutes (at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour). Only cards whose values changed are updated. |

| Daily prices | One value per card per day (by Korea Standard Time date) is accumulated and drawn as a chart: 1 month, 3 months, 1 year or all. |
| Date on screen | The date next to a price is the day the value was observed. If there is no observation today, the date of the last one is shown. |
| After 30 days | Observations older than 30 days are not used. If no other candidate exists, “No price” is shown. |
What this price is not
- It is not an appraisal price. Graded (PSA and similar) prices are not mixed into the representative price; the card page shows them separately in a by-grade table.
- It is not an offer to buy or sell. A card cannot necessarily be sold at the displayed price. It is reference information.
- It is not a guarantee of authenticity or grade. A scan result does not guarantee a card’s authenticity or PSA grade.
