The Pokémon Company has set November 6, 2026 as the release date for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, with Mega Rayquaza ex as the featured card . Sealed products have been shown, but no official MSRPs have been published.
When does Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release, and what is confirmed?
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign releases on November 6, 2026, according to the official Pokémon announcement, which names Mega Rayquaza ex as the headline Pokémon . The same announcement gives the set's size but does not list prices or product SKUs.
Quick Answer: Delta Reign releases on November 6, 2026, according to Pokémon.com. It has over 135 cards and is led by Mega Rayquaza ex, alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. Pokémon has not yet announced MSRPs, and it says more details are coming.
Pokémon's official wording describes the expansion as having "over 135 cards, with more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations" . The announcement names four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex:
- Mega Rayquaza ex: the headline card. Pokémon says it "descends from the sky, bringing unparalleled strength to battle."
- Mega Golurk ex
- Mega Malamar ex
- Mega Golisopod ex
PokéBeach, a Pokémon TCG news site, separately reports that Delta Reign will be the sixth English Mega Evolution set and that it has now been fully revealed . PokéBeach is the only source for the "sixth set" claim. PokéBeach's own pages blocked our access, so this claim comes from its reporting as passed on to us and has not been checked against the original article.
The official announcement is limited in scope. It states that "more details about this expansion are coming soon" and lists no MSRPs, pack counts or SKUs . Retailers and guides are quoting prices, but none of them come from the publisher.
Which Delta Reign products have been shown so far?
Delta Reign's product lineup has been shown only in photos. The reveal includes a booster box, four booster pack artworks, two Elite Trainer Boxes, a Build & Battle Box, a Booster Bundle and several blisters. TCG Reserve relayed PokéBeach's August 20 reveal and noted that "no MSRPs, pack counts, or contents lists have been published yet" (source: TCG Reserve, 2026-08) .
The reveal shows how each item looks and nothing more. It does not list prices, pack counts or promo cards. For most items, packaging is the only thing collectors and retailers can confirm.
- Core sealed products: booster box, Elite Trainer Box, Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, Build & Battle Box and Booster Bundle.
- Booster pack artworks: four designs featuring Mega Rayquaza, Mega Golisopod, Mega Golurk and Mega Malamar, which match the four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex that Pokémon names for the set (source: Pokémon.com) .
- Blisters: a Seel blister, a Spritzee checklane blister, premium checklane blisters featuring Ampharos and Delphox, and two Target-exclusive checklane blisters reported as Xerneas/Deoxys and Keldeo/Delibird.

The Build & Battle Box is the only item on this list whose contents Pokémon has described. Its prerelease page lists four Delta Reign booster packs, a 40-card ready-to-play deck and one of four foil promos (source: Pokémon.com prerelease page) . Pokémon has not published a price for it.
PokéBeach's original article could not be reached directly. The lineup above comes from TCG Reserve's summary of that reveal. Product names may change before release, especially the Pokémon shown on the Target-exclusive blisters.
Why are there no MSRPs yet, and which reported prices are unofficial?
Delta Reign has no official MSRPs because Pokémon has not published any. Its November 6, 2026 announcement lists no prices or product SKUs and says only that "more details about this expansion are coming soon" . Every price below comes from a retailer, a guide site or the secondary market.
The product reveal included photos only. As of the August 20 reveal, TCG Reserve wrote: "No MSRPs, pack counts, or contents lists have been published yet" . Pack counts and promos reported since then have not been confirmed by Pokémon.
Several collector guides list the standard Elite Trainer Box at $49.99 with 9 booster packs and a full-art foil Kyogre promo (source: Nerdsnack, Trackalacker) . Pokémon has not confirmed the price, the pack count or the promo.
| Product | Reported price | Reported packs | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elite Trainer Box | $49.99 | 9 | Guide-reported; promo unconfirmed |
| Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box | Not consistently reported | 11 | Guide-reported; sources disagree on promos |
| Booster Bundle | $24.99–$26.94 | 6 | Retailer/guide-reported; prices vary |
| Booster Box | $159.99–$161.64 | 36 | Retailer/guide-reported; prices vary |
Retailer listings and collector guides do not agree on prices for the larger products . The main differences:
- Booster Bundle (6 packs): reported between $24.99 and $26.94.
- Booster Box (36 packs): reported at $159.99 and at $161.64.
- Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: reported at 11 packs, but sources list different promos.
That figure reflects current presale listings. It is not a suggested retail price.
PokéBeach forum posts and several guides say Pokémon Center preorders are open with per-customer limits. Pokémon's own announcement does not mention preorders. Treat all prices and contents above as provisional until Pokémon publishes official product details.
What is the Delta Reign prerelease schedule and Build & Battle Box?
According to PokéBeach, Delta Reign prereleases run from October 24 to November 1, 2026 . Pokémon has officially confirmed only the start date. On its prerelease page, it says select Play! Pokémon Stores begin selling the Build & Battle Box on October 24, 2026 . Pokémon's page does not give the November 1 end date. That date comes from PokéBeach alone.
"Starting October 24, 2026, select Play! Pokémon Stores will begin selling the Mega Evolution—Delta Reign Build & Battle Box," — The Pokémon Company International (source: Pokémon.com)
A Build & Battle Box is a prerelease kit. It combines sealed packs with a ready-made deck, so players can build a deck and play at the event. Pokémon lists these contents for each Delta Reign box :
- Four Delta Reign booster packs
- A 40-card ready-to-play deck
- One of four foil promo cards: Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus or Kommo-o
Pokémon does not say how the four promos are split across boxes. It also has not published a suggested retail price for the Build & Battle Box.
The prerelease format differs from standard play. According to Pokémon's prerelease announcement, players use a 40-card deck with four Prize cards. Standard play uses 60 cards and six Prizes . Because decks are smaller, players build them mostly from the packs they open at the event.
Pokémon directs players to the Event Locator at events.pokemon.com to find a participating store . Each store sets its own event dates, entry fees and seat limits, so check them with the store before you go. Only select Play! Pokémon Stores take part, so not every local game store will run an event.
The prerelease window ends shortly before the set's digital launch. A retailer guide from Evo Retro says Delta Reign arrives on Pokémon TCG Live on November 5, 2026, one day before the November 6 retail release . Pokémon has not confirmed that date, so treat it as unofficial.
What do the official previews show about Delta Reign cards?
Pokémon.com has published two card preview features for Delta Reign. They show Heat Rotom ex, Delibird and several Trainer and Stadium cards that are not Mega Evolutions. We could not load the preview pages directly. The card names below come from search-result snippets, so check them against the live pages.
The first feature, published in September, shows Heat Rotom ex, Delibird and other cards from the set (source: Pokémon.com, 2026-09) .
The second feature, an October 5 "Sneak a Peek" article, reportedly includes these cards :
- Hypno, illustrated by Yuta Kawazu, a first-time Pokémon TCG artist
- Kecleon
- Aarune, Legendary Pyroduct, a Stadium card
(source: Pokémon.com, 2026-10)
Aarune appears to belong to a new card type. According to TCG Reserve, Delta Reign introduces "Legendary Stadium" cards. These are two Stadium cards played as a pair, and side by side their artwork forms one extended illustration . Pokémon has not yet published the full rules text for how the pair works in play.
The Mega Evolution lineup is confirmed in Pokémon's own announcement. It names four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex :
- Mega Rayquaza ex, the featured card. Pokémon says it "descends from the sky, bringing unparalleled strength to battle."
- Mega Golurk ex
- Mega Malamar ex
- Mega Golisopod ex
The same announcement describes the set as "over 135 cards, with more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations," and says more details are coming (source: Pokémon.com) . Fan databases disagree on the exact card count, so this article uses Pokémon's official wording.
How does Delta Reign relate to Japan's Storm Emeralda (M6)?
Fan and retailer sources say Delta Reign is the English version of the Japanese set Storm Emeralda (M6), which was released in Japan on July 31, 2026 . Pokémon has not confirmed this in its own announcement. Treat it as non-official background.
According to Evo Retro's Delta Reign guide, the English set uses the set code ME06, and the cards carry a printed DLR abbreviation . Bill's Archive also maps Delta Reign to Storm Emeralda.
The English set does not appear to be a one-to-one copy of M6. According to TCG Reserve, Delta Reign also includes cards from the Japanese MEGA Starter Decks. The same source says the set introduces "Legendary Stadium" cards: two Stadium cards played as a pair whose artwork joins into one wider image .
Here is how the reported background lines up:
- Japanese source set: Storm Emeralda (M6), July 31, 2026 (fan and retailer sources, not official)
- English set code: ME06, with DLR printed on the cards (retailer guide, not official)
- Extra material: cards from the Japanese MEGA Starter Decks (TCG Reserve)
- Card count: one fan database lists 103 main-set cards plus 37 secret rares, while another lists 113
The card counts may differ because some databases include the Starter Deck material and others leave it out, but neither database explains its method. Until Pokémon publishes a full checklist, the only official figure is "over 135 cards" from the Pokémon.com announcement . Collectors comparing Japanese and English pulls should expect the two set lists to differ.
