The Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box was listed at $150.81 on Amazon on Nov. 4, 2026, according to Mashable . That price is still about three times the box's $49.99 MSRP .
How much is the Ascended Heroes ETB on Amazon right now?
As of Nov. 4, 2026, the Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box costs $150.81 on Amazon, according to Mashable. A third-party seller is offering it at that price, not Amazon itself . Mashable said this is $29.14 below the $179.95 price Amazon showed as the box's typical price, a 16% drop .
Quick Answer: Mashable reported that on Nov. 4, 2026 the Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box was listed on Amazon at $150.81 by a third-party seller. That is 16% below Amazon's displayed $179.95 price. It is still about three times the $49.99 MSRP that TCGplayer lists.
Mashable named two third-party listings on Amazon on Nov. 4:
- Midwood Soles: $150.81, with free delivery scheduled for Nov. 12 .
- CTY Market: $150.82, also with free shipping .
The $179.95 figure is the price Amazon displayed. It is not the official retail price. According to TCGplayer, the standard ETB's MSRP is $49.99 . So the Nov. 4 price is a lower resale price, not a discount off retail.
Third-party prices on Amazon can change within hours, and a listing can sell out without notice. Check the current price and seller on the Amazon product page before buying.
Is $150.81 a discount? MSRP vs. street price
No. The $150.81 Amazon price that Mashable reported on Nov. 4 is not a discount off retail. It is a lower resale price that still costs about three times the official price. TCGplayer lists the standard Elite Trainer Box at a $49.99 MSRP . The $179.95 "list price" was only the price shown on Amazon's listing.
Resale pricing started before the box was released. According to TCGplayer, the standard ETB's market price was already $117.82 on Jan. 20, 2026 . That was a month before its Feb. 20 retail release. Buyers have rarely been able to get the box at MSRP outside official retail drops.
The other Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes sealed products show the same pattern. TCGplayer lists the Pokémon Center–exclusive ETB at a $59.99 MSRP and a market price of about $314.29 . The Booster Bundle has a $26.94 MSRP and a $76.98 market price .
| Product | MSRP (TCGplayer) | Market / street price | Multiple of MSRP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elite Trainer Box (standard), Jan. 20 market | $49.99 | $117.82 (TCGplayer) | ≈2.4x |
| Elite Trainer Box (standard), Nov. 4 Amazon | $49.99 | $150.81 (Amazon, per Mashable) | ≈3.0x |
| Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box | $59.99 | ≈$314.29 (TCGplayer) | ≈5.2x |
| Booster Bundle | $26.94 | $76.98 (TCGplayer) | ≈2.9x |
The multiples in the table come from dividing each street price by its MSRP. TCGplayer's market prices change daily, so the multiples are snapshots, not fixed values. Here is how to read the Nov. 4 Amazon price:
- Against MSRP: $150.81 is about $100.82 above the $49.99 official price.
- Against Amazon's displayed price: it is $29.14 (16%) lower, according to Mashable. That is a markdown from one resale price to another.
- Against the Pokémon Center ETB: the standard box has a lower multiple. Part of the reason is that the exclusive version adds two extra packs and a stamped N's Zekrom promo.
Retailers that sell at MSRP, such as the official Pokémon TCG product page and its retail partners, are the only places to pay $49.99. Stock at those retailers is limited and sells out quickly.
How has the Amazon price moved from February to November 2026?
From February to November 2026, Amazon's price for the Ascended Heroes ETB rose, then came part of the way back down. It started near $120 in late February and passed $180 by early September. On Nov. 4, Mashable reported it at $150.81.
On Feb. 27, 2026, Mashable's Ben Williams reported Amazon's price as $119.99 and called it the "lowest-ever price" at that point . The same post, republished on Yahoo Shopping, listed these prices at other stores:
- Walmart: $149.99
- TCGplayer: $199.95
- Target: $299.99
By late summer the price was much higher. On Sept. 2, 2026, Mashable's April Howell reported an Amazon listing at $183.41 from third-party seller Atmus Inc, or $188.90 with shipping . Walmart had it for $168.91, and TCGplayer's market price was $169.14 .
"Pricing has stayed stubbornly high throughout much of 2026," — April Howell, Mashable (source: CNCB News, 2026-09)

| Feb. 27 | Amazon | $119.99 | Mashable via Yahoo Shopping |
| Feb. 27 | Walmart | $149.99 | Mashable via Yahoo Shopping |
| Feb. 27 | TCGplayer | $199.95 | Mashable via Yahoo Shopping |
| Feb. 27 | Target | $299.99 | Mashable via Yahoo Shopping |
| Early March | Amazon | $116.85, then $109.88 | Secondary summaries of Mashable posts |

| Sept. 2 | Walmart | $168.91 | Mashable via CNCB News |
| Sept. 2 | TCGplayer (market) | $169.14 | Mashable via CNCB News |
| Nov. 4 | Amazon (Midwood Soles) | $150.81 | Mashable |
Mashable's Nov. 4 price of $150.81 is about $33 below the Sept. 2 Amazon listing.
The box still costs more than it did in spring. At $150.81, it is about $31 to $41 above the February and March Amazon prices. Those spring prices were already more than double TCGplayer's $49.99 MSRP .
Who is selling it? Third-party listings vs. Amazon direct
Both $150-range listings come from third-party sellers on Amazon, not from Amazon itself. Mashable reported on Nov. 4, 2026 that the $150.81 offer was sold by Midwood Soles, with free delivery scheduled for Nov. 12. Mashable named CTY Market as a backup seller at $150.82, also with free shipping. Shoppers are buying from independent resellers that use Amazon's storefront.
The same thing happened with earlier deals. In the Sept. 2 Mashable deal post, the $183.41 Amazon price came from a third-party seller, Atmus Inc. When Amazon itself is not selling the box, the price on the product page depends on which reseller holds the top offer. That can change from hour to hour.
A search snippet of the Amazon product page (ASIN B0G3CY83L5) showed the ETB as "currently unavailable" from Amazon directly. The snippet's capture date is not known . Amazon's own stock status may be different on the day you check.
Check these before buying from a third-party listing:
- Seller name: Confirm which seller is shown under "Sold by." It may no longer be Midwood Soles or CTY Market.
- Shipping date: Check the delivery estimate. The Nov. 12 date Mashable reported applied on Nov. 4 only.
- Total price with shipping: Compare the checkout total, not the headline price. The September listing added $5.49 in shipping.
- Return terms: Read the seller's return policy, and check whether the order is covered by Amazon's A-to-z Guarantee.
- Product variant: Make sure the listing is the standard 9-pack ETB. The Pokémon Center–exclusive version has 11 packs and two N's Zekrom promos .
What is in the Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box?
The standard Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box contains nine Ascended Heroes booster packs and an exclusive full-art foil N's Zekrom promo card. It also includes sleeves, Energy cards, dice and storage for play. These contents are listed in Mashable deal posts from February and September 2026 (source: Mashable via Yahoo Shopping, 2026-02 ; Mashable via CNCB News, 2026-09 ).
Mashable lists the following items in each box:
- 9 Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes booster packs
- 1 exclusive full-art foil N's Zekrom promo card
- 65 card sleeves
- 40 Energy cards
- 6 damage-counter dice and 1 competition-legal coin-flip die
- 1 plastic coin
- A player's guide
- A collector's box with dividers
- A Pokémon TCG Live code card
For buyers comparing prices, the packs and the promo matter most. At Mashable's Nov. 4 Amazon price of $150.81, each of the nine packs costs about $16.76 if the box price is spread across the packs alone. At TCGplayer's $49.99 MSRP, each pack costs about $5.55 . The sleeves, Energy cards and dice are standard ETB accessories for players. They add little to the box's resale value.
The Pokémon Center–exclusive ETB has a different SKU and different contents. According to TCGplayer, it holds 11 booster packs and two N's Zekrom promos, and one of those promos is stamped . Because of the extra packs and the stamped promo, its resale price is much higher. Its prices should not be compared with listings for the standard 9-pack box.
When did Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes release and why is demand high?
Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes was released on January 30, 2026, according to Pokémon.com . The standard Elite Trainer Box came out on February 20, 2026, according to both Pokémon.com and TCGplayer . Collectors want the box because the set is unusually large and has many high-rarity cards.
The official Pokémon release announcement says the set has "over 290" cards . In its preview, Pokémon named new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex such as Mega Dragonite ex. It also listed more than 30 Trainer cards and more than 30 Pokémon cards with special illustrations .
TCGplayer breaks the card list down as follows :
- 217 main-set cards and 78 Secret Rares, "just under 300" cards in total
- 13 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
- 22 Special Illustration Rares
- Mega Gengar ex 284/217, which TCGplayer names as the set's top chase card
Rare cards are spread thinly across a list this long, so each card is hard to pull. That keeps demand for sealed product high. Each ETB holds nine packs, and buyers who open them for the Secret Rares compete for boxes with collectors who keep them sealed.
The set's place in the series also adds to demand. Bulbapedia describes Ascended Heroes as the first special expansion of the Mega Evolution Series. Bulbapedia says it is themed around Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is the largest English-language set so far, and is based on the Japanese MEGA Dream ex set (M2a) .
The ETB's MSRP is $49.99 according to TCGplayer, but its market price there was already $117.82 on January 20, before the box came out . Demand has kept the price far above MSRP for most of the year, so a lower Amazon listing is a cheaper resale price, not a return to retail. Compare the price with TCGplayer's market price and check who the seller is before you buy.
