Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection—Day & Night releases on November 6, 2026, and the "$360" in GameRant's headline is the cost of buying both boxes. Each box is a separate product with a reported retail price of $179.99, according to trade outlet ICv2.
Is the 30th Celebration Day & Night set $360 or $180?
The price is about $180 per box. ICv2 reported on July 9, 2026, that each Ultra-Premium Collection would sell for $179.99 (source: ICv2, 2026-07). At that price, one Day box and one Night box together cost $359.98 before tax and shipping. That total is where the "$360" figure comes from. No two-box bundle is sold as a single product.
Quick Answer: The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection comes as two separate boxes, Day (Espeon ex) and Night (Umbreon ex). ICv2 reports each at $179.99. The $360 figure is the cost of buying both. Both launch November 6, 2026, according to ICv2 and GameRant.
The two versions are separate products with different featured promos:
- Day: a Pikachu ex promo and an Espeon ex promo .
- Night: a Pikachu ex promo and an Umbreon ex promo .
- Both: 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs plus one 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack, launching November 6 .
GameRant gives an MSRP of "$360 for both bundles, or $180 each," with worldwide availability from November 6 (source: GameRant, 2026-10). A copy of that report dated October 27 gives the same figures (source: VideosPokémonGO, 2026-10). The worldwide claim comes from GameRant.
All of the dollar figures come from trade and news reporting, not from Pokémon. TCG Protectors' guide, updated October 2, says Pokémon's official product gallery does not list a US price (source: TCG Protectors, 2026-10). The product itself is listed on Pokémon's product gallery. Expect store prices to differ from $179.99 by retailer and region.
How did the $360 figure come about, and what did ICv2 correct?
The $360 figure is what you pay for both versions combined. It is not the price of a single product. ICv2 reported on July 9, 2026, that each Ultra-Premium Collection would retail for $179.99 . One Day box plus one Night box comes to $359.98 before tax and shipping. GameRant's headline rounds that total up to $360 . Collectors who want only Espeon ex or only Umbreon ex need to budget for one box at about $180, not $360.
Jeffrey Dohm-Sanchez wrote the price report for ICv2. The first version of the article was wrong. On July 10, 2026, ICv2 published a correction saying an earlier price had mistakenly described a carton of four boxes instead of one collection . The corrected per-box price is $179.99. Sellers sometimes quote case or carton prices, so a number several times higher than $180 may describe multiple boxes. Check the quantity before you compare listings.
| Figure | What it represents | Reported by |
|---|---|---|
| $179.99 | One Ultra-Premium Collection (Day or Night) | ICv2, July 9, 2026 |
| $359.98 | One Day plus one Night, before tax and shipping | Two boxes at ICv2's per-box price |
| $360 | Rounded total for both versions | GameRant, October 2026 |
| Four-box carton price | Shown by mistake in ICv2's first report, then corrected | ICv2 correction, July 10, 2026 |
GameRant describes the release as "$360 for both bundles, or $180 each," with availability "worldwide starting November 6" . A reproduction of that article dated October 27 carries the same wording (source: VideosPokemonGO, 2026-10). The word "bundles" refers to the two separate versions. There is no two-box package. Day and Night are sold as separate products, and each contains its own 30 packs.
The worldwide availability claim comes from GameRant. As of October 28, 2026, Pokémon has not published a release date or a price for each region. Release timing, local prices and stock may differ outside the US. The $179.99 figure is a US price from trade reporting. It is not a price list from Pokémon, and retailers may charge more or less.
- One box: $179.99 reported US MSRP (ICv2).
- Both versions: $359.98, which GameRant rounds to $360.
- Corrected error: ICv2's first price described a four-box carton.
- Worldwide release: GameRant's claim. No regional dates have been published.
What is inside each Ultra-Premium Collection?
Each Ultra-Premium Collection has 30 booster packs, two foil promo cards and a set of play accessories. That is 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration boosters plus one 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster. This list comes from ICv2's product report of July 2026 . The Day and Night boxes have the same contents except for one promo card. You get the full list in either box, so you do not need to buy both to get all the accessories.
Here is the list of contents for one collection, as reported by ICv2:
| Item | Quantity per box | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Foil Pikachu ex promo | 1 | Illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN; in both Day and Night |
| Foil Espeon ex or Umbreon ex promo | 1 | Espeon ex in Day, Umbreon ex in Night |
| Playmat | 1 | Themed to the version |
| Card sleeves | 65 | Standard deck sleeves |
| Deck box | 1 | Holds a sleeved deck |
| Themed metal coin | 1 | Used for coin flips in play |
| Damage-counter dice | 6 | For tracking damage |
| Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs | 29 | Main expansion packs |
| 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack | 1 | Separate reprint pack |
| Pokémon TCG Live code card | 1 | Redeemable in the digital game |
The contents fall into three groups:
- Promo cards: two foil ex promos. The Pikachu ex illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN is in both versions. The second promo is Espeon ex in Day or Umbreon ex in Night .
- Accessories: a playmat, 65 card sleeves, a deck box, a themed metal coin and six damage-counter dice . Together these cover what you need to sleeve and play one deck.
- Packs: 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration boosters plus one Classic Collection booster, which makes 30 packs per box . Each box also has a Pokémon TCG Live code card.
The pack count is the main thing to check if you plan to open the boxes. GameRant's list also gives 29 30th Celebration boosters and one Classic Collection booster per bundle , so the two reports match. At ICv2's reported US price of $179.99, you pay about $6.00 per pack before taxes. That figure does not count the promos or accessories, so it is not a real per-pack price for the box. It is only a rough way to compare it with other 30th Celebration products. Buying both versions gives you 60 packs, two playmats, 130 sleeves and three ex promos you can't get from packs: two copies of the YOSHIROTTEN Pikachu ex, one Espeon ex and one Umbreon ex.
TCG Protectors published a guide that was updated in October 2026. It gives the same contents and adds that Pokémon's official product gallery does not list a dollar price . The Pokémon product gallery entry is the official listing for the two collections. Pokémon has not published a separate item-by-item list that differs from ICv2's.
What is the Classic Collection pack, and are chase cards guaranteed?
The 30th Celebration Classic Collection pack is one extra booster in each Ultra-Premium Collection, and no specific card in it is guaranteed. According to a guide from TCG Protectors updated in October 2026, the pack holds three cards drawn from a selection of 30 reprints . A buyer who opens one Day box and one Night box gets two of these packs, which is six cards from that 30-card pool.
The Classic Collection pack is not the same as the other 29 packs in the box. According to ICv2, each collection lists 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs and one 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack, for 30 packs per box . GameRant gives the same pack makeup and also says the Classic Collection pack contains three cards from a selection of 30 .
What the published descriptions say about the pack:
- Cards per pack: 3, according to TCG Protectors and GameRant.
- Card pool: a selection of 30 reprinted cards, according to TCG Protectors.
- Packs per collection: 1 Classic Collection pack in each Day or Night box, according to ICv2.
- Guaranteed cards: none. TCG Protectors says a specific card such as Charizard is not guaranteed.
The Charizard point matters if you plan to buy for one card. A pool of 30 cards with three cards per pack means one box shows you only a small part of the selection. Buying both versions does not promise any particular reprint either. The fixed contents that come with every box are the foil promos: a Pikachu ex plus an Espeon ex (Day) or an Umbreon ex (Night).
The card-count and no-guarantee details come from a third-party collector guide, not from Pokémon. Pokémon has not published a full card list for the Classic Collection pack or pull rates for its 30 cards. Until it does, the three-card, 30-card-pool description should be read as reported by TCG Protectors and GameRant, not as an official breakdown.
Day vs Night: what differs between the two versions?
The only reported difference between the two versions is the featured promo card. The Day collection includes a foil Espeon ex promo and the Night collection includes a foil Umbreon ex promo. ICv2 lists every other item as the same in both boxes . Both versions have a reported retail price of $179.99, so the price does not depend on which one you pick (source: ICv2, 2026-07). The choice comes down to which Eeveelution you want.
These items appear in both versions, according to ICv2 :
- The same foil Pikachu ex promo illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN
- 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs and one 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack, for 30 packs in total
- A playmat, 65 card sleeves, a deck box, a themed metal coin and six damage-counter dice
- A Pokémon TCG Live code card
GameRant's list of the bundle contents also differs only in the Espeon ex (Day) versus Umbreon ex (Night) card. Both versions share the Pikachu ex card and the same pack count (source: GameRant) . The playmat, sleeves, deck box and coin are probably themed to match each box's Pokémon. However, no item-by-item artwork comparison has been published for these accessories. Treat any differences in their designs as unconfirmed until both boxes are photographed in full.
Since the contents barely differ, buyers can decide using three questions:
- Collecting one Pokémon: If you only want Espeon ex or only want Umbreon ex, one box gets you that promo, the Pikachu ex promo and 30 packs at the reported $179.99.
- Completing the pair: Getting both Espeon ex and Umbreon ex promos means buying both boxes. That totals $359.98 at the reported price, before tax and shipping . You also end up with two copies of the Pikachu ex promo and 60 packs.
- Accessory preference: If you mainly want the playmat or deck box, wait for full product photos of each version. The published contents lists do not describe how those items look.
Pack value is the same either way. Each version has the same 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration packs and the same single Classic Collection pack. Choosing Day or Night does not change what you can pull from the packs, based on the contents reported by TCG Protectors .
When and where can you buy it?
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections—Day & Night are scheduled to release on November 6, 2026. ICv2 reported that date along with a $179.99 retail price per collection . GameRant reported the same date and said the collections will be sold worldwide . A reproduction of the GameRant report, dated October 27, carries the same November 6 date .
The "worldwide" claim comes only from GameRant. As of October 28, 2026, no source confirms that every region gets the collections on the same day or at the same price. If you buy outside the US, check your local Pokémon distributor or retailer before assuming November 6 applies to you.
The official Pokémon product gallery has a listing for both collections. According to TCG Protectors, the gallery does not show a dollar price . The $179.99 figure comes from trade reporting by ICv2. Pokémon has not published that price itself.
As of October 28, 2026, neither ICv2 nor GameRant names the retailers that will stock the collections, and neither gives preorder dates or allocation limits. Before you buy:
- Use $179.99 as the reference price. That is ICv2's reported US MSRP for one collection, either Day or Night .
- Add sales tax and shipping yourself. Buying both versions comes to $359.98 before tax and shipping, so your checkout total will be higher.
- Check the listing names the version. Day comes with the Espeon ex promo and Night with the Umbreon ex promo. A listing should say which one you are paying for.
- Compare third-party prices to MSRP. No source has confirmed resale prices, so a listing well above $179.99 is the seller's own price, not the retail price.
What is not verified yet?
Three points are still unconfirmed as of October 28, 2026: the resale prices, worldwide availability, and an official US dollar price from Pokémon. The release date and the $179.99 price per box come from trade reporting. Talk of scarcity and market value comes from commentary. No confirmed sales record backs either one.
- Resale prices are unconfirmed. Coverage of the release has included figures such as "$400+ each" . No completed sales record supports that figure. The product has not shipped yet, so talk of scarcity or how it will perform as an investment is speculation.
- Worldwide availability is GameRant's claim. GameRant says both collections will be available worldwide starting November 6 . No region-by-region schedule confirms the same date in every country.
- Pokémon has not published a US dollar price. According to TCG Protectors, the official Pokémon product gallery does not list a dollar price. The $179.99 figure comes from trade reporting .
Where each claim comes from:
- ICv2: the $179.99 price for each collection, the November 6 launch, the list of contents, and the July 10 correction about the four-box carton .
- TCG Protectors: the Classic Collection pack holds three cards from a 30-card selection, with no specific card guaranteed .
- A reproduction of the GameRant report dated October 27: the $360 total for both versions .
- Pokémon product gallery: the official name of the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections—Day & Night.
In short, each box has a reported price of $179.99, and buying both comes to $359.98 before tax . Use those figures and the November 6 date when you plan a purchase. Treat any higher price as one seller's asking price until real sales data appears.
