Misty’s Psyduck gets new artwork in China’s next Gem Pack release, according to Pokémon China.
When does Misty’s Psyduck’s new Gem Pack artwork release?
Pokémon China’s October 16 announcement confirms Gem Pack Vol. 7 launches November 6, 2026, featuring new Misty’s Psyduck artwork. Each pack contains four foil cards at a suggested retail price of RMB 10, according to the official product specifications.
Quick Answer: Misty’s Psyduck’s new artwork debuts in Gem Pack Vol. 7 in China on November 6, 2026. Pokémon China lists sales beginning at 10:00, making this the announced launch schedule for the booster release featuring the new illustration.
The release remains upcoming as of October 27, 2026.
What does the new Misty’s Psyduck artwork show?
Misty’s Psyduck’s new artwork shows Psyduck reclining on a beach chair and holding a beach ball overhead on a sunny beach, according to Pokémon China. The publisher describes it as a new illustration foil, with its accompanying description playfully asking whether Psyduck wants Misty to join in.
“Is it trying to invite Misty to play together?” — Pokémon China, official artwork description (translated from Chinese).
For the artist credit, Simplified Collector identifies Cona Nitanda as the illustrator. Separately, Serebii lists the illustrated Misty’s Psyduck as card 03 07/07. These are supporting catalog details; the publisher’s announcement establishes the beach scene and new illustration foil without supplying that artist credit or collector number.
Collectors comparing listings can use the beach-chair composition alongside the catalog attribution to identify the illustrated version. The artwork itself provides a clear visual reference when checking a seller’s card images.
What cards and foil treatments are in Gem Pack Vol. 7?
Gem Pack Vol. 7 gives every represented Pokémon an illustration foil card, alongside additional foil treatments. Pokémon China confirms the following features :
- An illustration foil card for every Pokémon represented.
- Type-pattern foil treatments.
- Master Ball-pattern foil treatments.
- Foil treatments featuring the Gem Pack logo.
The numerical breakdown comes from PokéBeach’s October 16 report: 28 Pokémon each receive seven numbered cards—six foil versions of their regular artwork and one Illustration Rare—for 196 holographic cards overall . The official announcement does not enumerate the complete checklist, so those totals remain attributed to PokéBeach.
Simplified Collector lists the set code as CBB7C and identifies other revealed Pokémon: Team Rocket’s Meowth, Steven’s Beldum, Cynthia’s Roserade, N’s Zorua and Lillie’s Ribombee . These are database-listed checklist details.
Each booster contains four random foil cards . That describes pack contents, not a guaranteed Illustration Rare. Neither announcement cited here specifies Illustration Rare pull rates; collectors should distinguish the set’s available treatments from what an individual pack promises.
How much do Gem Pack Vol. 7 and the Psyduck album cost?
Gem Pack Vol. 7 has a Chinese suggested retail price of RMB 10 per pack, while the separate Psyduck card album is priced at RMB 15, according to Pokémon China. The announced products differ in both contents and purpose:
| Product | Announced launch | Contents | Suggested retail price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gem Pack Vol. 7 | November 6, 2026 |
Four foil cards |
RMB 10 in China |
Pokémon China |
| Psyduck card album | November 6, 2026 |
30 pockets; one pocket per page |
RMB 15 in China |
Pokémon China |
Pokémon China lists the album separately from the booster. It is a standalone storage product, not a booster-pack bonus or an included accessory. Buyers comparing offers should check which product the listing covers rather than assume the album comes with cards.
Both announced amounts are Chinese suggested retail prices. They do not establish overseas retail prices, shipping charges, import costs or the secondary-market value of the new Misty’s Psyduck illustration. A booster’s suggested price applies to the sealed pack, not to a particular card inside it.
Where will Gem Pack Vol. 7 launch, and what buying details are confirmed?
China is the confirmed launch market for Gem Pack Vol. 7. Readers should consult Pokémon China’s product announcement for the announced sales information . Verified international retailers, overseas allocations and shipping terms remain unconfirmed; the domestic announcement should not be treated as an overseas preorder offer.
When comparing listings, use this product-identification checklist:
- Product name: Gem Pack Vol. 7 .
- Database code: CBB7C, as listed by Simplified Collector .
- Booster contents: Four foil cards per pack .
- Accessory: The Psyduck album is a separately sold product .
These identifiers help distinguish the booster from the accessory. Before ordering from an overseas seller, check the listing’s product description, delivery destination and shipping terms directly.
Is Misty’s Psyduck’s new illustration confirmed to stay exclusive to China?
No. Misty’s Psyduck’s new artwork is debuting in China, but Pokémon China’s official announcement does not promise permanent regional exclusivity. The announcement confirms the new illustration foil; it does not establish that the artwork can never appear in another market.
PokéBeach describes the card as an Illustration Rare and expects it will likely remain exclusive to China. That is an attributed expectation, rather than a publisher-confirmed restriction. Collectors should keep that distinction in mind when assessing listings that describe the artwork as permanently exclusive.
The unresolved developments to watch are:
- An official complete checklist confirming the full card lineup.
- Confirmed distribution details clarifying purchasing routes.
- Any official overseas announcement featuring the same artwork.
These are developments to monitor, not scheduled announcements. For a purchase decision, treat the China debut as confirmed and permanent exclusivity as unconfirmed.
