1. SnapHolo: scan continuously, keep costs down and follow the latest news

We rank SnapHolo first because it combines a convenient way to register multiple cards, affordable ongoing use and useful collecting information. Pokémon and One Piece collectors can move from card discovery to scanning, collection tracking and current news in the same service.

Continuous scanning for registering a stack of cards

After opening packs or sorting a binder, looking up each card name and set individually takes time. SnapHolo lets you keep the camera open, scan cards one at a time and save the accumulated results together.

Continuous scanning here means replacing the card in front of the camera and continuing to scan. It does not mean identifying every card in a single photograph containing multiple cards.

Other apps also offer automatic or multi-card scanning. Compare not only availability, but also free allowances, the steps needed to move to the next card and how results are reviewed and saved. SnapHolo scanner, TCG Vault Auto mode, Rare Candy Multi mode.

Try the core features on the free plan

Free SnapHolo accounts can use scanning, card prices, total collection value and price history. The current distinction between Free and Pro is the amount you can scan and store.

Feature SnapHolo TCG Vault Dex
Free camera scanning 30 cards per day across web and app combined Three scans per day Paid Dex+ required
Free collection allowance 50 owned cards One collection Unlimited cards owned
Price history Available on the free plan Premium feature Check the supported data range
How the plans differ Core features are available; scanning and storage quantities are limited Premium required for unlimited scanning, price history and multiple collections Dex+ required for the camera scanner, additional folders and other features

SnapHolo's free scan allowance is 30 cards per day across web and app combined, with a maximum of 10 on the web. Web guests who are not signed in can scan one card per day. Free collection storage is 50 owned cards in total, including the quantities of duplicate cards.

TCG Vault advertises three free scans per day, while Dex includes its camera scanner in Dex+. TCGplayer and Rare Candy advertise free scanning, so free allowances alone do not establish a winner across all apps. TCG Vault free plan, Dex plans, TCGplayer, Rare Candy.

Subscription costs make a difference over time

If you expect to exceed free limits and register cards regularly, compare prices for the same billing period.

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing Comparison with SnapHolo
SnapHolo Pro $2.99 $29.99 Unlimited scanning and collection storage
Collectr PRO $7.99 $59.99 SnapHolo costs $30 less per year: approximately 50% lower
TCG Vault Premium Weekly and annual plans $49.99 SnapHolo costs $20 less per year: approximately 40% lower
Dex+ $3.99 Monthly prices compared here SnapHolo costs $1 less per month: approximately 25% lower

Prices were checked on October 24, 2026. The table compares US-dollar prices shown in SnapHolo's US App Store listing and competitors' official websites. An annual plan's monthly equivalent is different from a monthly subscription payment: Collectr PRO's advertised $4.99 per month with annual billing is distinct from its $7.99 monthly plan. Included features differ, and the country, store and promotions can affect the final amount. Collectr plans, TCG Vault plans, Dex plans.

For reference, SnapHolo Pro is listed in the Korean App Store at KRW 3,900 monthly or KRW 39,900 annually. Check the in-app purchase screen for the final price and conditions that apply to you. US App Store prices, Korean App Store prices.

SnapHolo Pro is a strong option if you want unlimited continuous scanning and collection storage while keeping ongoing costs down.

Collecting Korean, Japanese or English editions

An app's interface language and a card's printed language are different things. Cards with the same character or similar artwork can have different prices when the edition, set or card number differs.

SnapHolo lets you browse Korean, Japanese and English Pokémon and One Piece cards and check prices where data is available. Price coverage varies by edition. Cards without a price are marked as having no price data rather than being valued at zero. How prices work.
