The Sylveon ex Box’s observed Walmart price undercut Mashable’s earlier reported offer.
How much was the Sylveon ex Box on Walmart on November 2?
Walmart displayed the 30th Celebration Sylveon ex Box at $54.95 on November 2, 2026. That was $5 below the $59.95 Walmart offer Mashable reported on October 23, making this a comparison between dated offers.
Quick Answer: Walmart’s observed listing price for the 30th Celebration Sylveon ex Box was $54.95 on November 2, 2026. This was a listing snapshot; availability and delivery terms depended on the selected location and seller, so the offer was not a universally available checkout price.
Walmart separately advertised $20.04 in savings against a crossed-out $74.99 comparison price. That retailer comparison uses a different baseline from Mashable’s earlier offer. Buyers should check the selected offer and delivery terms before paying.
What does the 30th Celebration Sylveon ex Box include, and when was it released?
The 30th Celebration Sylveon ex Box contains four booster packs, a playable foil promotional card and an oversized foil card. Pokémon lists September 16, 2026, as the release date for both the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex boxes .
The official Pokémon product showcase confirms these contents for the Sylveon ex version:
- Four 30th Celebration booster packs .
- One playable foil Sylveon ex promotional card .
- One oversized foil Sylveon ex card for display .
Pokémon’s June 30 product-lineup announcement separately confirms the four-pack configuration and corresponding promotional and oversized cards . The standard-size promo is the playable card; the oversized version serves as a display item.
The release date identifies when the product launched. The November 2, 2026, observation of the Walmart listing records a later retail offer, rather than a new release .
How does Walmart’s $54.95 listing compare with Mashable and TCGplayer figures?
Walmart’s observed listing was $5 below Mashable’s earlier reported offer: $59.95 minus $54.95 equals $5 . That establishes a lower advertised retail price, but does not establish a discount against the current TCGplayer market price.
| Source | Observation or publication date | Figure | Figure type | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Walmart | November 2, 2026 | $54.95 | Observed selling price | Seller and location dependent |
| Walmart | November 2, 2026 | $74.99 | Crossed-out comparison price | Not established as MSRP |
| Mashable via Yahoo Shopping | October 23, 2026 | $59.95 | Reported Walmart offer | Historical retail price |
| Mashable | October 23, 2026 | $79.95 | Previous-price reference | Not established as MSRP |
| Mashable, citing TCGplayer | October 23, 2026 | $58.29 | Historical market estimate | Not a current valuation |
| Mashable, citing TCGplayer | October 23, 2026 | From $59, including shipping | Historical asking prices | Not completed sales |
The original Walmart offer sat $1.66 above Mashable’s quoted TCGplayer estimate: $59.95 minus $58.29 . Neither historical TCGplayer figure establishes its November 2 market price. Yahoo Shopping’s copy is syndicated Mashable reporting, not independent corroboration.
Mashable also referenced its earlier October Prime Day Amazon offer of $94.75, which was $34.80 above its $59.95 Walmart offer . These comparisons describe retailer pricing at different times; they do not establish a manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
Who sells the Walmart listing, and what should buyers check?
Realgoodeal was the seller and Walmart handled fulfillment on the listing observed November 2, 2026 . These are separate roles: the seller offers the item, while the fulfillment provider handles the order’s shipment. Buying through Walmart’s website therefore should not be confused with buying an item sold directly by Walmart.
The Walmart product page displayed free shipping for the selected location during that observation . That shipping offer does not establish terms for other locations or international delivery.
Before paying, check the purchase page and checkout for:
- The selected seller.
- The displayed item price.
- Any shipping charge.
- The delivery estimate.
- Availability for your delivery location.
For comparison shopping, the TCGplayer figures cited by Mashable via Yahoo Shopping describe its October 23, 2026 reporting, not a verified current direct TCGplayer offer .
What is inside 30th Celebration packs, and are the returning cards Standard-legal?
30th Celebration packs contain foil Pokémon cards, foil Basic Energy and a Pokémon TCG Live code card. The returning classic cards are excluded from Standard play but remain eligible in formats that permit their original prints, according to The Pokémon Company International.
The company’s June 1, 2026 announcement marked 30 years of Pokémon and set a coordinated September 16 launch in participating markets. It announced 30 returning classic cards and a new Futuristic rare category featuring artwork by YOSHIROTTEN .
- Five foil cards, including one featuring one of 30 distinct Pikachu illustrations .
- One foil Basic Energy .
- One Pokémon TCG Live code card .
“will not be legal for play in the Standard format” — The Pokémon Company International, describing the returning classic cards.
That restriction applies specifically to the returning classics; it is not a blanket ruling on every card in the expansion. For players, the practical next step is to check the intended card against the format they play before buying the box for deck use.
